This Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) governs the use of services provided by Giles M Mobile Notary and Livescan Services (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including California DOJ Live Scan Fingerprinting and California Notary Public services, whether provided in person, mobile, or through our website: https://www.excellentsigners.com
By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to this Agreement.

1. Services Provided
Giles M Mobile Notary and Livescan Services provides the following services:
California DOJ and FBI Live Scan Fingerprinting
California Notary Public services (mobile and on-site)
All services are performed in compliance with applicable California state laws, California Department of Justice (DOJ) regulations, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) requirements (where applicable), and the regulations of the California Secretary of State.
2. General Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and collect only the information necessary to lawfully perform our services.

Appointment and service details

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and date/time of access for security, analytics, and functionality purposes only.

3. Live Scan Fingerprinting Privacy & DOJ Compliance
Live Scan Data Collection
For Live Scan Fingerprinting services, we collect fingerprints and related identifying information solely as required by California DOJ and FBI regulations and only for submission to authorized requesting agencies.
DOJ Compliance Disclosure
Fingerprint data is collected only for authorized submission to the California DOJ and FBI.
We do not store, retain, copy, reuse, or access fingerprint images, biometric data, or background check results after transmission.
All Live Scan data is transmitted using DOJ-approved secure systems.
We do not control, receive, or store the results of background checks.
Important Live Scan Notice
Live Scan fingerprinting is not a clearance, approval, or guarantee.
The DOJ, FBI, or the requesting agency solely controls the processing times, determinations, rejections, or delays.
All Live Scan fees are non-refundable once fingerprints are captured and transmitted, regardless of outcome.
No exceptions. That’s DOJ policy.

4. California Notary Public Privacy
Legal Compliance
All Notary Public services are performed in full compliance with the laws and regulations governing Notary Publics in the State of California, as administered by the California Secretary of State.
Information Required by Law
California law requires Notaries Public to collect and record certain information, which may include:
Signer’s full name and signature
Type of identification presented and expiration date
Description of the document notarized
Date, time, and location of notarization
Thumbprint, when required by law (including certain real estate documents)
This information is recorded in a Notary Public journal, which is a legally mandated record.
Notary Journal Security & Disclosure
Notary journals are stored securely, and access is restricted.
Journal entries may be disclosed only as permitted by California law, including upon request by a court, law enforcement, or the California Secretary of State.
·Journal entries cannot be altered, deleted, or withheld at a signer’s request.
This is required by law, not optional.
5. Use of Information
Information collected is used only to:
Perform lawful Live Scan and Notary Public services
Verify identity and prevent fraud
Maintain legally required records
Comply with state and federal regulations
We do not use client information for marketing or advertising purposes.

6. Client Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:

Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information
Present valid and acceptable government-issued identification
Confirm agency requirements, ORI numbers, and documentation before booking
Arrive on time and prepared for appointments
Errors or omissions provided by the client are not the responsibility of the Company.

7. Appointments, Payments & Cancellations
Fees may be required in advance.
Mobile service fees, travel fees, and convenience fees are non-refundable once service has begun or the technician has arrived.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
No-shows or late cancellations may result in forfeiture of all fees.

8. Limitation of Liability
Giles M Mobile Notary and Livescan Services is not liable for:
DOJ or FBI processing delays, rejections, or errors
Employment, licensing, certification, or agency decisions
Errors caused by incorrect information provided by the client
Third-party system failures or agency determinations
Our role is limited to lawful capture, verification, and submission of information.

9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. While no method of transmission is 100% secure, we follow industry standards and regulatory requirements.

10. California Privacy Rights
California residents may request access to personal information where legally permitted. Certain records cannot be deleted, modified, or destroyed due to legal retention requirements.

11. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13, except where permitted by law.

12. Intellectual Property
All website content, logos, and materials are the property of Giles M Mobile Notary and Livescan Services and may not be copied, reproduced, or reused without written permission.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.

14. Updates to This Agreement
We may update this document at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.

15. Payment Processing & Credit Card Information
Credit card payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. Giles M Mobile Notary and Livescan Services does not collect, store, or retain credit card numbers, card security codes, or banking information.
