LIVESCAN FINGERPRINT SERVICES, CALIFORNIA
Typically, the DOJ processes results within a 72-hour timeframe. However, there might be instances of delays for various reasons. In cases of significant delays, the DOJ will communicate directly with the agency that initiated the request. Results are disseminated through email or sent to the specified agency mentioned in the Request for Live Scan Service form. After the Live Scan process is concluded at our facility, any inquiries should be directed to the relevant agency overseeing your employment or licensing. If the agency has not received the results, you have the option to contact the Applicant Processing Program at 916-227-3823. This specific department is the sole entity authorized to check if your record was either dropped or not entirely processed. It's important to note that Live Scan Sacramento is unable to resubmit a record without written consent from the DOJ, and this particular procedure may take up to 30 days.
